How many good works do you have to add to your belief in Christ in order to escape judgment? The answer is zero. How many good deeds should you do because you love the Lord? As many as possible! Do these efforts guarantee you will not be condemned? No! Forgiveness is a promise of Jesus. “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has
passed from death to life” (John 5:24).
